Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it cost?

Each craft is a different price. Our standard projects range from $30-$50, details available on our Crafts page. Our happy hour crafts are less than $20. Pricing will also be available in store.

Does everyone in my group have to do the same project?

Nope! Because we do not host classes & instead provide step-by-step photo tutorials, everyone in your group can craft something different! But, you are welcome to all craft the same project if you would like.

How does it work?

When you arrive at DIY Disco, a creative assistant will seat you at a table where you'll be able to view all of the available projects in person before you choose what you'd like to create that day. Our seasonal projects will rotate every few months, so you can always try something new! Once you've chosen, you'll receive a step-by-step photo tutorial so that you can craft at your own pace.

Are the projects difficult?

We have 3 ability levels. All of the projects are designed to be completed by someone who has never tried a craft of that kind before, but they will be easier or harder to complete by people of different abilities. Craft ability levels and required completion time are provided on the Project Menu.

When should I arrive?

Be on time. Please arrive no earlier than 10 minutes before your reserved craft session, and no later than 30 minutes. If late, your craft selection will be limited to what can still be completed within the remainder of your reserved time slot.

How long is a craft session?

When you reserve a spot at one of our craft sessions, you reserve a 3 hour time slot. Each craft is designed to be completed within this window!

Some may be completed in 1 hour, and some may take closer to the full 3 hours to complete.

Where should I park?

Free parking is available. DIY Disco shares the same parking lot as Elsie's Plate and Pie. If spots are unavailable, we encourage patrons to park in the lot across Government St. and cross at the existing crosswalk.

Can I bring food?

Yes! Absolutely! Please be aware that you might have to put your food on the same table you use for crafting though, so your space will be limited. We recommend not bringing a full table of food unless you are planning on renting out the entire space. We do not provide plates, utensils, napkins, etc.

Can I bring my own drinks?

No. Though we were BYOB in December 2022 and January 2023, we now offer a full bar with a full menu of cocktails, mocktails, wine & beer.

Do you sell beer?

Yes, we do sell beer. We have Michelob Ultra & Coors Light.

Do you have a happy hour?

Yes! Thursdays & Fridays! Happy Hour craft sessions are available on Thursdays and Fridays from 4-6PM. Our specials include $3 off cocktails and $2 off beer. We offer a limited menu of smaller crafts all less than $20.

Do you offer classes?

No. DIY Disco does not offer classes or workshops. When you choose your project, you receive your step-by-step photo tutorial & all the materials you need with a little guidance from our Creative Assistants as needed.

Do I have to select my project when I make my reservation?

No. You do not have to select the project you would like to craft until you arrive at the store for your reservation. You can look at all of the completed crafts on display before you choose the project you would like to do.

Do you have theme nights?

Yes! Check out our calendar of upcoming events to see the next theme nights! We will typically host 1 per month.

Do you have any specials?

Yes! On Thursdays, get 10% off your total bill if you share a post and tag us on Facebook or Instagram @diydiscobr! We also offer $14 bottomless mimosas on Saturday morning & Sunday morning sessions.

Do I need a reservation?

Yes, reservations are required. However, you can always call us on the spot to see if we have any current openings.

Why weren't you there during your Open hours?

Sometimes, we don't have any reservations during one of our project sessions. If that is the case, we might not be there! This is why reservations are required.

My company wants to have an event where we pay $X toward each person's craft. Can you split the bill like that?

For sure! We can split the bill however you like.

Do you do anything special for birthdays?

We love celebrating birthdays with our crafters! We sell a birthday cake shot, but at this time we do not offer anything further.

Can I bring decorations for my party?

Yes! We do ask that you do not plan to hang anything from the ceilings or walls. Please keep in mind that space might be limited depending on the other reservations we have that day.

Can I come in early to decorate and set up food for my party?

It depends on when your party is and if we have other reservations that day. We cannot guarantee that we'll be able to seat you if you show up more than 15 minutes early. It is best to organize your event with us through the contact form on our Groups page.

Can kids come?

No, we are 18+ only since we are a bar. We check IDs at the door.

What is your refund policy?

We regret to inform you that under normal circumstances, DIY Disco does not issue refunds for craft orders or services provided. We understand that unforeseen situations may arise, and we are committed to addressing customer concerns. Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and approval will be at the sole discretion of DIY Disco. To initiate a refund request, please contact us at hello@diydiscobr.com within 7 days of services.

All reservation fees for large groups are non-refundable.
